Ostatnia aktualizacja: 28 września 2026Halloween 2026 Event — Trick or Treat is Live
The Dino Kid Halloween 2026 event is live: a Trick or Treat loop, Halloween Candies and Candles, a 14-item Halloween Shop and the limited-time Trick or Treater class. Here is everything confirmed as the event runs.

Event window
Live since September 18, 2026 and running through November 15, 2026. Three parts drop across the season: Part 1 Trick or Treat (Sept 18, live now), Part 2 Potion Making (Sept 25) and Part 3 Grand Finale (Nov 1). All Halloween currencies and clock-icon items disappear when the event ends.
How Trick or Treat works
1. Find houses
New character and NPC houses spawn across the forest map. The Fairy NPC is a central figure — cover art shows cultists knocking at her door — so expect several houses to visit per run.
2. Light a candle by day
Place a Halloween Candle at a house door during daytime to make it trick-or-treatable. Each house needs a fresh candle for every session, so prep several houses while the sun is up.
3. Trick or treat at night
At night, interact with a lit door to collect Halloween Candies. Most visits pay treats; some pay tricks — a ~5-second frog, prison-ball, pumpkin-screen or fling effect. You can only trick or treat after dark.
Candies vs Candles
Halloween Candies
The spendable event currency. Earn them by trick or treating, grabbing lobby spawns when you return from a run, and redeeming any active codes. Spend them in the Halloween Shop. All candies vanish on November 15, 2026.
Halloween Candles
The consumable that lights houses for trick or treating. Farm them from Cultists in the Volcanic Biome or loot chests near Cultist Camps after Day 4 — drop rate climbs the more days you survive.
Halloween Shop — 14 items
Run by the Pumpkin Reaper NPC ("Happy the Halloween Guy") in the main lobby. The table shows the first wave; Part 2 (Potion Making, Sept 25) expanded it with the permanent Witch class, bone furniture and flame skins, and Part 3 (Nov 1) adds the finale items. Items with a clock are limited-time.
| Item | Candy cost | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Trick or Treater Class | 30 | Limited — expires Nov 15 |
| Jack-o’-lantern | 20 | Permanent |
| Spooky Table | 20 | Permanent |
| Spooky Chairs | 20 | Permanent |
| Pumpkin Bunny | 150 | Permanent — tamed-bunny skin |
| Skeleton Wolf | 500 | Permanent — tamed-wolf skin |
Trick or Treater class
The Trick or Treater class (30 Candies) is the headline limited-time reward. It completes quests faster and earns more Candies per house, making it the best candy-farm pick once unlocked. It is event-only and disappears on November 15, 2026 — buy it before you spend candies elsewhere. See the Classes and Tier List pages for the full roster.
Part 2: Potion Making (live Sept 25)
Brew at the Cauldron
A Cauldron now sits by your campfire. Drag the ingredients shown above the pot to brew a mystery potion — the liquid shifts colour as you add each one, then throw it for a random, chaotic effect (frog transform, coin summon, pumpkin screen, ball-and-chain and more). Wrong ingredients vanish and knock you back; a recipe book beside the Cauldron lists tips.
Fairy ingredients & Witch class
Rare plants come from the Fairy — trade Flowers for seed packs (Dripleleaf near ponds, Moonflower at night, Stareweed under light, Cave Vine underground, Mandrake by trick-or-treat houses). Natural drops (Morsel, Bunny Foot, Coal, Mackerel, Steak, Berry) round out the brew. Each successful potion also pays around 10–15 Candy. The Witch class (900 Candy) joins the shop as a permanent class.
Helping Happy — pre-event quest (live Oct 3–10)
Reassemble Happy the Halloween Guy
The Ram has torn Happy apart — explore the forest to find his six body parts (Left Arm in the Stone Building, Right Arm from the Alpha Wolf, Left/Right Legs in the Barn and Windmill, Torso under the Pumpkin Farm cart, Hat from a Cultist), carry each back to his stake and rebuild him. Pick up Happy’s Scythe to clear webs and level it to three.
Badges, furniture & rewards
Earn all three Helping Happy badges (Reaping, Strawcraft, Sweeping) to unlock the Happy’s Cart furniture. After reassembling Happy you choose one run-only reward — Vampire Cloak, Bouncing Blade or Laser Cannon. Full walkthrough on the Helping Happy guide.
Quick tips
- Prep multiple houses during the day, then clear them all at night for max candy per cycle.
- Farm Candles in the Volcanic Biome — Cyborg’s Laser Cannon AoE clears Cultists fastest.
- Redeem active codes for bonus candies, and grab lobby candy spawns whenever you return from a run.
- Buy the limited-time Trick or Treater class before permanent furniture — clock-icon items are gone on Nov 15.
