What is confirmed
Official name and dates
The update is officially titled "New Classes". The developer opened it as a Roblox virtual event for 99 Nights in the Forest at 17:00:08 UTC on Saturday, September 5, 2026, and it runs to September 12. Stealthy Gaming and Earnaldo both logged it as the current update, replacing Biome Refresher.
Three new classes: Escape Artist, Elemental, Woodsman
Escape Artist, Elemental and Woodsman are the three new classes. Their names come from the official Fandom Update Log (added September 5) and from four independent YouTube channels that posted class-by-class videos on September 5–6. Daily quests
The event description confirms daily quests — daily objectives that give players a steady reason to return and earn rewards. They may involve survival tasks, resource gathering, defeating enemies, exploring, or completing specific forest objectives.
Fire offerings
Fire offerings are a new ritual-style system that appears to connect to the campfire and survival progression. After the update, check the campfire area first — the offering mechanic is where the new rewards are expected to unlock.
Three new quest badges
Three quest badges were created the day the update launched — Woodsman’s Quest, Elemental’s Quest and Escape Artist’s Quest — one per new class. Together they carried well over 140,000 awards within a day, confirming the update shipped as described (Earnaldo, pulled from the Roblox badge API).
